In this example our client required a 122 copper thermal bulb. Designed for the HVAC industry, the thermal bulb measured .750″ in diameter and 3″ in length. Converting the manufacturing process from cut tubing that required spinning and brazing the closed end,to our high speed deep draw technology, quality issues were eliminated and cost per part was reduced by 40%. We complete the part with a bright, burr-free finish and ensure the thermal bulb will meet tolerances of ±.005″ as well the customer-supplied specifications.
